The challenge
The position of the holes on a car door had to be measured on every door and the deviations tracked over time.
Our solution
The camera images the hole at the four measuring points on the door in turn. Our software locates the hole and reports its position deviation on two axes (H and L) in millimetres; each image is checked in under half a second.
The latest measurement of each point is shown on screen, its history in trend charts, and the images are saved. When there is no door at the station, the system shows a "No door" warning.
