Panel Radiator Palletizing Cell with Operator Interface

We commissioned a robotic cell that sorts packed panel radiators by type and stacks them on the matching pallets, together with the line's operator screens.

The challenge

Packed panel radiators of different types and sizes had to be stacked on the right pallet in the right quantity at the end of the line, and the status of the line had to be monitored from a single point.

Our solution

Packed radiators reach the cell on a roller conveyor. Our own line software identifies each product by its barcode and routes it to the matching pallet station; ABB robots stack the products on pallets assigned by type.

The operator screens show the product type and fill level of every pallet station, the product records read and the pallet sizes. Opening a new pallet and selecting the operating mode are done from the same screen.
