Robotic Automation
Robotic CNC Tending (Camera & Vision)
With robotic CNC tending cells your production lines never stop: the robot loads, unloads and palletizes finished parts.

Robotic CNC tending automates material loading into machine tools. CNC machines are used for serial, repetitive parts; when loading is done by a robot, machine capacity rises, misplacement and cutting errors caused by human error fall, and the operator is freed from dangerous and repetitive work.
Vision technology is the key component of these cells: a camera recognizes the raw part arriving on the conveyor, measures its position and size; the robot grips it in the correct orientation and places it in the chuck. Parts of different sizes and shapes run in the same cell without program changes.
The same camera inspects the finished part as well: burrs, incomplete machining or dimensional errors send the part to the NOK bin. The machine runs 24/7, without shifts and without errors.
