Robot Vision
Robot vision is the robot's eye: it finds the part, measures its position and guides the robot.

Robot vision is an image-processing field of growing importance. In classical robot applications the part always has to wait at the same point in the same orientation; vision removes this constraint. The camera computes the position and angle of parts arriving randomly on a conveyor or lying mixed in a bin, and the robot grips accordingly.
Hand-eye calibration converts camera pixel coordinates into the robot's world coordinates. Fixed camera, arm-mounted camera or 3D camera is chosen per application. Pi Robotik integrates directly with KUKA, ABB, FANUC and Nachi controllers with its own software.
