Robot Positioning

In tasks common in serial production (door fitting, glass bonding, hole alignment) the robot must find its target to the micron. Cameras measure reference points on the part; the robot program is corrected instantly based on the measurement.

In multi-camera measurement setups the position of large parts (car bodies, white-goods cabinets) is determined in one shot. Fixture costs fall and model changes happen without reprogramming.
